Keith John Smith

Intro

I was born in the capital of Zimbabwe back in 1994. I grew through the development stage of computers, learning all that I could from anyone that I could. I had a passion for software and how to build it from a very young age. This drove me to take up classes in high school in the art of software development. I used up a lot of time reading into development methods and eventually submitted my first fully function software for grading to Cambridge university at the age of 18, I am currently studying Computer science at University of the People with the hopes of becoming a world class AI engineer, for the mean time, I spend my time building responsive websites, mobile applications and Java based computer software for anyone that needs one. I am currently working on a long term project while still learning about AI development in an attempt to create a fully function accounting software for both local and international companies to use. Unfortunately this software is still not available for the public eye, but for some examples of my websites and applications that I have created, you can either contact me and I will send over some links right away or you could check out the write up that is above this paragraph.

I started officially working in Front-end in early 2020 where I was working freelance for local bloggers and small scale business owners who were looking for simple landing pages and marketing solutions. You can read more about my work experience in the about me tab if you wish!

With my specific skill set I also use my time to tutor students in the art of Computer Science and software development in the Chimanimani area, focusing mainly on individual who were directly affected by the Cyclone Idai which devastated the area, so if you would like to know more about this any would like to assist in any way what so ever, my email is smith.keithjohn@gmail.com

Work

For the past 2 years I have found that my skill has grown exponentially in the programming sector, from private coding boot camps to gainful employment, I started off building small landing pages for small business and it has now evolved into something much bigger. For an overview, I started as a freelancer, then moved on to a 6 month contract with a company called Serban Enterprises where my main job was to build winning sales funnels for clients, from websites to landing pages all the way down to the ads campaigns. I found this exciting and if you care to look at my Facebook page you can see the reviews of my work in a few videos. I then moved back to the freelance sector after my contract came to an end. I now have learned to develop in Java for both PC and Mobile and currently working a large financial project as I may have mentioned before.

I have accumulated some other skills which may be relevant to some who would choose tho look into them, the most relevant is the SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and digital marketing which goes surprisingly well along side software and website development.
